Short Biography
Nana Iashvili holds an MA degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University in Vienna and BA in Economics and Politics from Bard College Berlin, Germany. In the MA research project, she examined the historical and socio-economic transformation of the post-socialist Tbilisi.
In her current work, Nana is focusing on the housing-debt nexus in Georgia, looking at the mechanisms and practices of housing financialization in the country and the consequences these processes have on people’s lives.
