The lectures series "ANTHROfutures" by the Student Assistants of the Department aims focuses on the future plans and perspectives of anthropology graduates. The lecture gives space to people who graduated in anthropology to present their experiences to current students, and is held once per semester. The format is always the same: we invite between four and six people with working experience in a common field, so they can give you their personal view on their professional life world, and so that you can ask them questions about it in an informal setting. To be able to invite people from outside of Vienna, too, the event will always take place online.
If you're looking for networking opportunities, we recomment the KSA Alumni-Verband and the Kontexte Netzwerk. These are both platforms that connect anthropology graduates and inform tham about calls and events.
Also, for all those who don't want to wait until the next ANTHROfutures event, we can recommend the lecture streams of the former "How to be(come) an Anthropologist" series (in german only).

After these short presentations, there will be an informal exchange of questions and answers between students and presenters.
PS: the talks during the first half of the event will be in German, but you're also welcome to join later for the Q&A part, which can be in English, too (starting around 19:00)
