Kurzbiographie

Eva Kössner ist Doktorandin und Lektorin am Institut für Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie der Universität Wien. Derzeit arbeitet sie außerdem als Koordinatorin im Graduiertenzentrum der Fakultät für Sozialwissenschaften der Universität Wien. Ihr Dissertationsprojekt („Remembering Oslo in Transnational Contexts: Young Palestinian migrants and their memories of the Oslo Accords“) untersucht den Zusammenhang zwischen verschiedenen transnationalen Phänomenen und den Erinnerungspraktiken junger palästinensischer Erwachsener im Nahen Osten und in Europa.

2013 erhielt Eva Kössner ein Junior Fellowship des Internationalen Forschungszentrums Kulturwissenschaften IFK, und von 2014 bis 2018 war sie Stipendiatin der Österreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (DOC). 2014 wurde ihr Dissertationsprojekt mit dem Dissertationspreis für Migrationsforschung der Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften ausgezeichnet. Seit 2017 ist sie Sprecherin der AG Migration der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Sozial- und Kulturanthropologie.
