Open Anthropological Research journal is accepting submissions to the Special Issue on ‘Anthropology and Pandemics’ and the Editorial Board would like to encourage you to submit your next article to this journal. We are looking for cutting-edge works on the following topics: 1. Anthropology and the crisis of public health;2. Anthropology and SARs;3. Anthropology and HIV;4. Anthropology, science and public health;5. Anthropology and COVID-19;6. Comparative work on the above topics which look at different countries and their response to the pandemic;7. The public response to pandemics;8. The importance of anthropology in interdisciplinary research on pandemic disease.9. A short review of recent research on ‘Anthropology and Pandemics’.    Proposals for other Special Issues are also welcomed. Open Anthropological Research, published by De Gruyter, is a new international open access, peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original, high-quality research on all aspects of anthropology. The objective of this journal is to foster the free exchange of ideas and provide an appropriate platform for presenting, discussing and disseminating new concepts, current trends, theoretical developments and research findings related to a broad spectrum of topics: social, cultural, linguistic and biological anthropology. Authors of Open Anthropological Research benefit from:
