Short Biography

Eva Kössner is a PhD candidate and recipient of a DOC Fellowship of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her dissertation project “Remembering Oslo in Transnational Contexts: Young Palestinian migrants and their memories of the Oslo Accords” explores how young adult Palestinians in Vienna, Amman and Ramallah remember, present and assess the Oslo Accords signed by Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization in the 1990s.

In 2013/14 she was Junior Fellow at the IFK International Research Center for Cultural Studies in Vienna, in 2014 she was awarded the Dissertation Prize for Research on Migration (Austrian Academy of Sciences).
